Preparation of a polyurethane membrane testosterone sensor and its application using square-wave stripping voltammetry

چکیده

A novel electrochemical sensor for testosterone detection has been prepared by the chemical modification of a gold electrode (AuE). For modification, specific polyurethane (PU) films were synthesized from hexamethylene diisocyanate, olivetol, polyethylene glycol-100 (PEG100) and β-cyclodextrin. The PUs investigated as selective films, used to coat AuE surface at different concentrations thicknesses. responses modified electrodes square-wave voltammetry (SWV). One separated cathodic SWV peak was obtained –0.390 V, with PU-modified in 0.1 M phosphate buffer (PB) (pH 7.2). linearity PU over concentration range 0.1–1.0 µM (R2 = 0.995). It observed that response increased regularly sensitively increasing amount. limit, relative standard deviation sensitivity found be approximately 5.69 nM, 1.669 % 98.331 %, respectively. exhibited good selectivity low time testosterone. Therefore, offers alternative fast practical determination clinical or biomedical studies.

Determination of abscisic acid by cathodic stripping square wave voltammetry.

In this paper a study is accomplished on behavior in a mercury electrode, of the phytohormone abscisic acid and of the conditions of accumulation in a HMDE. A mechanism is proposed of reduction based on its electrochemical behavior and proving the product of the reduction through mass spectrometry of bulks. A method is proposed for the determination of Abscisic acid (ABA) with a quantification ...

Determination of hydroquinone in a square wave voltammetry procedure using a graphite-polyurethane composite electrode

In order to a better characterization of a graphite-polyurethane composite intended to be used as a voltammetric sensor, the performance in a square wave voltammetric procedure was investigated. Using hydroquinone (HQ) as a probe, the electrode showed to be useful in square wave voltammetry with limit of detection of 0.28 μmol L-1, with recoveries between 99.1 and 101.5%. The results of the pro...

Determination of clopidogrel using square wave voltammetry

The determination of clopidogrel, an antiplatelet agent, was performed at a gold electrode in pH 3.7 acetate buffer using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and square wave voltammetry (SWV). Each voltammogram was characterized by the well defined peak at approximately 1.0 V. The current of anodic stripping peak exhibited a linear dependence on the clopidogrel concentration in the range from 317.89 to 935...

Diagnostics of anodic stripping mechanisms under square-wave voltammetry conditions using bismuth film substrates.

A mechanistic study to provide diagnostics of anodic stripping electrode processes at bismuth-film electrodes is presented from both theoretical and experimental points of view. Theoretical models for three types of electrode mechanisms are developed under conditions of square-wave voltammetry, combining rigorous modeling based on integral equations and the step function method, resulting in de...
